This new art gallery is a cultural beacon. A central “gallery-street”, designed as an elegant glass form, spans the entire building reaching from the edge of the Detroit River to the downtown. The building is equipped with three floors of flexible gallery space, state-of-the-art environmental control systems, a performance hall, a restaurant, retail shop and dramatic public spaces. This was a joint venture with Moffat Kinoshita Architects Inc.
