University of Nebraska State Museum: Cherish Nebraska at Morrill Hall

Cherish Nebraska is a permanent exhibit focusing on the intricate connections between biodiversity, ecosystems, and climate change. Through interactive and static interpretation, and digital and traditional displays, visitors will learn how Nebraska’s remarkable water and soil resources, changing climate and geology, evolving landforms and life forms, and its past, present, and future connect us all. Working with the project architect, and the museum director and staff, Reich+Petch developed the gallery space, interpretive direction, and exhibit concept, as part of a master planning project, to remodel the fourth floor of the historic Morrill Hall into gallery space for new exhibits.
