Smithsonian Institution: David H. Koch Hall of Human Origins

The gallery presents the Smithsonian’s ground-breaking work in human origins, using state-of-the-art exhibits and multimedia to foster intellectual understanding and emotional connections to our ancient human ancestors. Visitors access the collections through experiential learning, and encounter the faces and struggles of our ancestors through an abundance of techniques: multimedia theatres, immersive environments, interactive engagement and direct encounters with the fossils themselves. The design fosters a compelling and memorable museum experience.
