Deadly Skies – Air War, 1914–1918

This exhibit immerses visitors in the lives of nine people from both sides of the conflict who participated in the first air war. Join them as they train to fly, gather intelligence, fight aerial battles, and drop bombs. Based on real events, their stories are told with more than 80 authentic artifacts woven into an innovative graphic novel presentation, and complemented by media and interactive experiences. Reich+Petch’s design approach was to break the boundary between the 2D and 3D worlds, allowing visitors to literally walk into the world of graphic novels.
