To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Confederation, R+P teamed with Parks Canada to create the “Imagine a Country” exhibit experience. This is a participatory venture encouraging Canadians to express their ideas and views of their dream country by answering a question inspired by Canada’s former visionaries: “In my dream country there would be …” Responses will be shared through an interactive photo booth onsite, and the messages will be displayed to inspire others, putting participants at the center of the story and linking the past and present to the future.
“Imagine a Country” was designed in 3 ways: 1. Permanent exhibit at the Sir George-Étienne Cartier National Historic Site in Montréal, Québec; 2. Seasonally installed container placed on the plaza at the Confederation Centre of The Arts in Charlottetown, PEI; 3. Mobile outreach units that will be installed at various Parks Canada Historic Sites.
